M712 is the select-fire variant of the famous German C96 pistol. It was first made by a Spainish gunmaking firms in 1927 and 1928, then the German gunmaker began production of the Schnellfeuer (Fast Fire) from 1932 to 1936, small numbers were supplied to the German Wehrmacht during WWII and designated as M712. M712's grip earned the gun the nickname “Broomhandle” in the English-speaking world because of its round wooden handle.
